In the World Heritage Studies, we welcome students who are motivatedto enter business that contributes to the international society throughpreservation of cultural and natural heritage.  World Heritage conservation is not limited tocertain specialists. Many participate in a variety of conservation activities, fromrestoration of monuments and sites, protection of wild animals, to educationalactivities, tourism planning, and development planning.

At the World Heritage Studies, students and professors hold numerousdiscussions, identifying existing problems from a broad perspective, aiming tobuild capacity that can solve complex issues with high standards of communicationskills based on specialized knowledge. With this purpose, many of the coursesare proactively arranged to take place in actual heritage sites. Many professorsare active in  national and internationalscenes, and through them the educational content accumulates forefrontinformation from conferences such as the World Heritage Committee or the Assembly ofStates Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity.

Those who enroll in the World Heritage Studies may be surprised todiscover the wide variety of activities done for the conservation of culturaland natural heritage. Heritage conservation is a new academic field, which isvery practical in the sense that readiness is required for issues that arise atactual sites. We welcome those who are eager to take part in such job.
